FINAL REGISTRATION FOR SPEAKERS: 1 JULY 2023
We will accept participant registration until 25 August, but we ask speakers to register by 1 July 2023.  Papers whose authors do not register by 1 July will be removed from the program.

A note on the fees: ESAP has no income other than the registration fees for ECAP. The main expenses for the conference include support towards the travel and accommodation of invited speakers, the cost of conference services (handling paper submission and registration, badges, etc), the catering, and a sizable rent for the venue. We managed to lower the registration fees compared to ECAP9 (the last in-person ECAP in 2017, in Munich). According to our current calculations, the registration fees will not cover the costs. The difference will be covered by the generous support of our funders: the City of Vienna through the Vienna Convention Bureau, Lex Academic, and the organising universities, CEU and the University of Vienna.

CONFERENCE DINNER
The conference will close with a conference dinner Friday evening. The traditional Viennese Heuriger Fuhrgassl-Huber is one of the best-known wine taverns in Neustift am Walde, located right on the outskirts of Vienna. The tavern is located amidst the vineyards of Vienna’s 19th district. Enjoy a typical Viennese Heurigen buffet accompanied by a glass of grape juice or wine.

The conference dinner costs 44 euros and it is not included in the registration fee. Delegates have a chance to buy tickets for the conference dinner at the end of the registration process. Tickets can also be bought for an accompanying person at the same time.

ACCOMMODATION
Our event-organising partner (AIM Group) offers a chance to book hotels at rates negotiated by them. Those who complete the registration process will receive a link to the booking page. This is a free service offered by the AIM Group which can be used by ECAP11 delegates at their convenience. 3-star hotels will be available for 79.00 to 99.00 EUR (double room, single use) per night; 4-star hotels will be available for 160.00 to 170.00 EUR (double room, single use) per night. The details of the offers will be published later.

CALLING FOR STUDENT ASSISTANTS
We are looking for student assistants who will help speakers with the presentation equipment during the parallel sessions throughout a morning or afternoon session (see the timetable above). In each session, there are 5 or 6 talks with a coffee break in the middle. Assistants will be asked to take care of 3 such sessions, ie. 15-18 talks in total (and attend a short demonstration on the use of equipment beforehand). The sessions will be organised thematically, so hopefully we can assign people sessions that match their interest. We will have to make sure that we cover all sessions, so assistants are asked to be potentially available for the whole duration of the conference.

Student speakers who agree to be assistants will receive a 50% discount from the registration fee. In case of interest, please write to ecap11@ceu.edu  (Make sure you arrange this before you complete the registration process; assistants will receive a discount code which can be used during the registration, but not retroactively).
